Mrs. Melgam called in with a garage door that refused to budge open. We walked her through some basic diagnosis, and she determined that one of the springs was broken.
Our Solution:
This was a very neat break, so there was little chance of fragments. We still took extra care to ease the tension out of the torsion cones very gradually, though! We gave the cones and spindles a touch-up once the garage door springs were off. Last, we installed the replacement springs and reconnected the door.
