One of the customer’s garage door tracks cracked right down the middle, and the other looked like it was barely holding together.
Damaged or warped tracks are usually fixable, but at a certain point there’s really nothing to do but get new ones. We had to cut parts of the old tracks off in order to remove them all, due to how rusted and stuck some of the screws were. After pulling the old tracks and screws out, we used our leveling tools to place the new set with new screws, aligned carefully with the overhead spring assembly. Last, we replaced a few of the more worn down rollers on the garage door itself, and then lowered it into its new tracks. We tested the door a few times to make sure it all fit right before calling our job finished.
